Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Nature of Experiences

Our activities take place in rural and mountain environments, where weather, geography, and animal behavior can involve changing situations.

The spirit of the trip is adventure and contact with nature; therefore, itineraries may be adjusted based on current conditions.

2. What Your Stay Includes

Each proposal is detailed prior to booking and clearly indicates what is included, which may include:

• Accommodation at La Pilarica Lodge
• Kitchen service and beverages
• Specialized guides
• Scheduled activities (horseback riding, trekking, fishing, etc.)
• Internal transfers associated with activities

Some specific experiences, such as heliskiing or long-distance transfers, may be handled by external operators.

3. Reservations and Confirmation

The reservation is confirmed when:

1. The guest over 18 years old accepts these conditions.
2. The 30% advance payment of the total value is paid.
3. La Pilarica Lodge sends written confirmation.

Until that moment, dates are not guaranteed.

4. Payment Conditions

• The final balance must be paid 30 days before arrival.
• Reservations made within 30 days prior require immediate full payment.
• Bank commissions and transfer fees are the guest's responsibility.
• All prices are expressed in USD.
• Recommended tip: $50 USD per day per person (Not included).

5. Date or Participant Changes

If the guest wishes to modify the date or number of participants, they must communicate this in writing.

Changes will depend on availability and possible rate differences.

6. Cancellations

We know plans can change, but our experiences require prior preparation.

In case of cancellation:

The reservation can be transferred to another person with a minimum 7-day notice.

7. Weather and Safety

• The final decision on performing or modifying an activity lies with the guides and safety officers.
• If an activity cannot be performed due to weather or terrain conditions, an equivalent alternative will be proposed.
• These changes do not imply a refund.

8. Personal Insurance

Each participant must have travel insurance that includes:

• Medical assistance and evacuation
• Trip cancellation or interruption
• Adventure activities (horseback riding, trekking, fishing, heliskiing if applicable)

We may request proof before starting the activity. As well as the signing of a liability waiver.

9. Individual Responsibility

By participating, the guest declares:

• Being in physical condition appropriate for the experience.
• Accepting that outdoor activities carry inherent risks.
• Committing to follow the guides' instructions.

La Pilarica Lodge assumes no responsibility for injuries, damages, or losses except in cases of proven negligence.

10. Personal Belongings

• We recommend traveling light and avoiding bringing valuable items.
• We are not responsible for losses or damages to luggage or personal belongings.

11. Coexistence and Local Culture

• The relationship with nature and with those who share the trip is a central part of the experience.
• Any aggressive, disrespectful behavior or behavior that puts others at risk will result in service termination without refund.

12. Health and Dietary Considerations

We appreciate communicating before arrival any medical condition, allergy, or dietary requirement to evaluate if it's possible to provide a safe and appropriate experience.

13. Force Majeure

In extraordinary situations beyond our control (natural phenomena, road closures, government provisions, etc.), we may adjust or reschedule the experience without assuming costs derived from the change.

14. Use of Images

• During activities, photos or videos may be taken for La Pilarica Lodge's records and communication.
• If you prefer not to appear in them, just let us know.
